UNILAG Student Molested, Photos Posted Online


A 22-year-old man has been arrested by the Lagos State policeman order for supposedly kidnapping a female undergraduate of the University of Lagos, Akoka, and molesting her.
According to the police, Babajide Bashorun, a dog breeder, did not only molest his victim, he furthermore took images of her unclad body, which he supposedly dispatched on the internet.
A family source disclosed, “Few days later, the images were all over the internet. The image had the title and surtitle of the young female, her university, age, department and course of study. persons were stopping her on the campus to tell her they had seen her unclad pictures on the Internet.
“The girl’s relations subsequent saw the images and urged her parents to report the matter at Adeniji Adele Police Division.”
After the issue was described to the policeman, Policemen from Adeniji Adele Police partition apprehended Bashorun.
A older agent from the position, who pleaded anonymity, notified Punch that the police were still on the trail of two undergraduates of UNILAG identified as Mayowa and Ademuyiwa, both 400 grade Architecture scholars, who the police suspect of complicity in the misdeed.
Detectives from Adeniji Adele Police Station are said to be
employed on the idea that the images were leaked to the Internet through the duo of Mayowa and Ademuyiwa.
When he was being interrogated, Bashorun said he only sent photographs of the young female to Mayowa, who in turn sent them to Ademuyiwa.
Bashorun denied drubbing his casualty as supposed by her family. He said they had been going out with for long and he had expended a allotment of cash on her.
“She is my girlfriend. I liked to purchase ipad for her. I was able to lift about N70,000. She came to my dwelling to collect the cash on that day.
“We had contention and I used floor mop to strike her on her back. I now took her pictures. I sent the pictures to my ally, but I didn’t tell him to post the pictures on internet.”
affirming Bashorun’s arrest, the state Police Public relatives agent, DSP Ngozi Braide said, “We charged him to court yesterday (Tuesday) . We are still looking for his accomplices who are on the run” [Punch]
